During the most recent AD meeting, we reviewed the pricing information for our services generated by ReconPro and it was very clear that with so many services with different naming (45 different service names) it was necessary to make changes in order to unify the system and have better data for reports needed for setting prices. To that end, we have reduced down the number of core services. After you add these services there are other sub categories that can further define exactly what work is being done. This week we are working out the bugs and on this Tuesday's Tech meeting we will discuss further how this will work and answer any questions you may have.
In an effort to understand pricing trends between different markets, we also are implementing changes to the process of making Inspections, or estimates, and also work orders. It will be very important to use the type of inspection or work order that correlates to the type of work being done (ex. Used, retail, fleet etc.) This way our reports will accurately reflect what we are charging for different services and we'll be able to see areas that we can make changes.
Please plan to join us this Tuesday evening at our January Tech Meeting to learn more about the changes coming. This month's meeting will be on a Tuesday and will start at 8PM Eastern time.
